Brantley awarded grant for sewage system

The town of Brantley has been awarded a $1,832,000 57/43% matching grant/loan by USDA.
Brantley has been working hard for a long time to try and secure funds to redo the sewage system in the areas where the CDBG grants did not cover.
“It is a lot of money and is a big deal for our town,” said Phillip Moseley, town administrator.
The award was presented at the Alabama Rural Water Association conference.
