Luverne Hardware has been working diligently to reopen its doors after a fire swept through the store in the early hours of Feb 9.
Wayne Rolling has been able to keep the lumber portion of the business open, locate around the corner from the main store throughout the cleanup efforts. “We want people to know the lumber is still here, and we are here to help them,” Rolling said. “We have always carried a fully stocked hardware selection, many items you cannot find at other stores.”
The hardware store is also getting a fresh new look. The walls are lined with tin and all new fixtures will hold merchandise throughout the store. We look forward to serving each and every one of you at the beginning of July,” Steve Phillips, store manager, said. “Look for more information on Facebook. We plan to have a big party welcoming everyone back.” Wayne and Vicki Rolling own Luverne Hardware located in downtown Luverne. They have been serving the Crenshaw County community since 1996.
