Trailblazers blaze through competition

The Crenshaw County Trailblazer team is blazing a trail for themselves in this year’s competitions.
The senior level team won Hippology, quiz bowl and horse judging competitions. The junior level team placed second in Hippology and placed first in quiz bowl.
Vanessa Simmons won high point senior overall and Anna Kate Foster won a trip for her record book.
Many qualified to move on to regionals.
Trailblazers is a 4-H program where children can learn about horses including how to care for and ride them. The members of the club do not have to own horses. For more information on this and other 4-H programs, please contact the Extension Office at 334-335-6312.
