Tigers stomped by Mustangs

The Luverne Tigers lost to the Isabella Mustangs on the road during Friday’s conference game with a final score of 32-13.
The Mustangs scored first over the Tigers with a 35-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.
A seven-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter extended the Mustangs lead.
At halftime the Mustangs led the Tigers 12-0.
Luverne made it a one score game after Keeshaun Glanton caught a 63-yard touchdown pass from John Gregory Garmon. However, the Mustangs managed a 10-yard run to the end zone to extend their lead before the start of the fourth quarter.
After a 15-yard rushing touchdown followed by a two-point conversion in the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Mustangs extended their lead 26-7.
Despite Keeshaun Glanton making it a two-score game after a two-yard run, a 41-yard rushing touchdown by the Mustangs sealed their victory.
With the loss the Tigers sport a 7-1 record for the season.
They will host the Georgiana Panthers to end the regular season this Friday.
