Brantley dominates the Elba tournament

The Brantley boys varsity basketball team has dominated the court in the ongoing River Christmas Basketball Classic.
The tournament started on Monday, December 27, with Brantley taking on Pike County in the day’s first game.
Brantley emerged with the win over Pike County with a final score of 71-52.
Leading the team was freshman Jayden Parks with 27 points, followed by Khaliq Smith, who scored 16 points.
Dylan Davis scored 12 points with 10 rebounds, while Morrell Edwards contributed 12 points.
Following their first game of the tournament, Brantley improved their record to 6-2 for the season.
Brantley found themselves with an even more significant lead against Goshen throughout their second tournament game.
The Bulldogs ended that game with a 72-25 win.
Leading the team was Keldrick Brown, who scored 18 points with 10 rebounds.
Edwards, Parks, and Robert Shine contributed 10 points to the team.
Brantley now sits at 7-2 for the season.
They will play their final tournament game this evening, beginning at 7:30 p.m., against New Brockton.
