Brantley basketball update

The Brantley boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams experienced both wins and losses following their most recent games.
On Tuesday, January 25 the varsity girls were defeated 23-38 by JF Shields.
The following Thursday, January 27, the varsity girls were defeated by Georgiana at home with a final score of 53-40.
Kayden Dunn led the team and had a double-double that consisted of 20 points and 12 rebounds.
The Brantley varsity boys were also defeated by Georgiana 53-67.
Jayden Parked led the team with 20 points.
Khaliq Smith scored 12 points while Keldrick Brown had 12 rebounds.
Following the loss, the boys sat at a 16-6 record for the season.
On Monday, January 31, the Brantley varsity girls were defeated by Straughn at home with a final score of 34-27.
Kayden Dunn led the team and had a double-double which consisted of 10 points and 12 rebounds.
The girls are currently 8-14 for the season.
The Brantley varsity boys, however, defeated Straughn 54-40.
Morrell Edwards led the team with 15 points.
Jayden Parked scored 12 points for the Bulldogs.
Keldrick Brown had a double-double consisting of 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The win brings the boys record to 17-6 for the season.
