Troy University has announced students who were named to the Chancellor’s and Provost’s List for the summer semester and Term 5 of the 2022-2023 academic year.
Dylan Boswell of Honoraville and Jania McGee of Selma earned a spot on the Chancellor’s list. To qualify for this honor, full-time students who registered for at least 12 semester hours and maintained a grade point average (GPA) of at least 4.0 qualify for recognition.
Valerie Burkett, a resident of Luverne, earned a spot on Troy’s Provost’s List. As a full-time undergraduate student registered for at least 12 semester hours, Burkett met the standard of maintaining at least a 3.65 GPA to qualify for the list.
Troy’s summer semester includes students enrolled at its Troy campus. Term 5 students attend classes in Dothan, Phenix City, Montgomery, or online as well as locations outside Alabama.
More than 22,500 students attend Troy, a public, historic, and international institution of learning. Quality academic programs, reasonable costs, available financial aid, and flexible in-person and online class offerings are among the reasons local students choose to attend Troy and can experience a traditional experience on the Troy campus.
Adult learners make up a large portion of the students attending the university’s satellite campuses as well as locations around the world.
