During the month of August, Brantley School’s 4th grade participated in Career Exploration activities in recognition of National Aviation Month. Students participated in a coloring contest sponsored by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 2003. (IAM&AW 2003). Brantley Elementary School Principal Sarah Osborne (far left) presented the awards to the contest winners. The winners (left to right) were
Gavin Witherington (1st place), Arianna Catrette (2nd place), and Grey Godwin (3rd place). Grey’s father is a helicopter mechanic at Fort Novsel and is a member of the IAM&AW Local Lodge 2003. On the far right is 4th grade math teacher Regina Parker, who led the project.
