Homecoming Dance
The Brantley High School Homecoming Dance will be held after the football game on Nov. 3 for grades 9-12 inside the BHS old gymnasium.
Better Days
New Beginning Christian Church will host the Watoto Children’s Choir of Africa Saturday, November 4 at 4:30 p.m. at Brantley High School, 8879 North Main Street in Brantley. For more info contact Dennis Bogan at 334-488-7575.
Friendliest City Fest
The festival will have music, food trucks, kids area, arts and crafts vendors, and more. The event will be held at Douglass Park Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Camp Stew Sale
The Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department, located at 10433 Steiner Store Rd Greenville, will hold its annual camp stew sale on Nov. 4. The price is $13.00 per quart.
HIstorical Outing
The Crenshaw County Historical Society will meet Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. to carpool down to Mt. Ida Road for a field trip to Old Valley Cemetery.
Mommy and Me
The Luverne Public Library hosts a program for moms and young children each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The next meeting will be this Tuesday.
ForestHER Webinar

Fall Festival
A Fall Festival hosted by S. Prevett, will be held Nov. 11 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Downtown Dozier. There will be live music, food, kids activities, arts n crafts, car viewing, and veterans program. Fore more information call 334-508-2797.
Christmas Market
The market will have arts and crafts, gifts, food, etc. available to purchase and will be held inside the Brantley United Methodist Church’s Bethany Center on Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information email ehpugh413@gmail.com.
Christmas Shoeboxes
First Luverne Baptist Church is serving again this year as an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection site. Gift filled boxes may be dropped off Nov 13, 15, 17-18 from 10 a.m. – Noon; Nov 14, 16 from 3p.m. – 6 p.m.; Nov 19 from 1-5 p.m.; and Nov 20 from 8-10 a.m.
ServSafe Training
A ServSafe class will be held Nov. 14-15 at the Luverne Public Library for food permit holders and is taught using 7th edition coursebook. The Luverne Public Library will host kids yoga on Nov. 16 at 5:15 p.m.
Fall Festival
The annual Homemakers’ Fall Festival at Spring Creek Baptist Church will be held Nov. 18 from 8 – 10 a.m. at the Spring Creek Fire Department on Steiner Store Road in Honoraville. There will be a bake sale and white elephant items available for purchase with proceeds going to the Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
First Responders
All first responders – police, fire and rescue, emergency medical personnel and dispatchers- are invited to enjoy breakfast and a word of encouragement at First Baptist Church Luverne on Nov. 19 at 9 a.m.
Food Pantry
The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association will host its monthly food pantry at First Baptist Church in Luverne on Nov. 19 at 10 a.m.
Craft Day
The Luverne Public Library will host a craft day on Nov. 20 at 4 p.m.
Movie Day
The Luverne Public Library will host movie day on Nov. 27 at 4 p.m.
