The spotlight of the “Crenshaw Animal Clinic Pet of the Week” feature currently shines upon a four-and-a-half-month-old Belgian Malinois named Flash. Flash, true to his name, is a whirlwind of excitement. Flash has already mastered a few commands, including the basics like sit and stay. His owner, Kenneth Brumit of Rutledge, said Flash is a ball of playful enthusiasm and energy.
Flash’s journey to becoming a beloved member of the Brumit family began when a police officer’s dog had a litter of puppies. As Kenneth approached the litter to choose his new companion, Flash made his mark by playfully biting Kenneth’s finger, sealing the deal with a mix of spunk and charm.
This spirited pup has a hearty appetite and is not picky when it comes to food; he’ll gladly devour anything placed in front of him. Flash is named after Brumit’s favorite superhero and this furry superhero-in-training has an insatiable love for running, playing fetch and swimming. He is also a fan of snuggling.
A particularly entertaining part of Flash’s routine is his end-of-day flop onto the bed, a dramatic and comical display.
