Kimmie was born in 1964 to parents she greatly admired. She had two brothers who she thought more of as her protectors. She married right out of high school to her high school sweetheart, James. Everyone she met from an early age talked of her beauty. Even as time went on, she was considered by those around her as a timeless beauty. They went on to have 5 children and 16 grandchildren, who were the true loves of her life. Taking care of them was her passion. Cooking during the holidays, or just anytime, was an act of love to Kimmie. Her favorite pastime was cooking and dancing to the blues. She also drove the school bus for 20+ years. There she would find even more children to claim as her own.
