Bethel Baptist Church in Glenwood is holding Vacation Bible School June 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Patsburg Homecoming

Patsburg Baptist Church will host its homecoming service June 23 at 10 a.m. featuring Malcolm Butts as guest speaker. Revival services will run June 24-26 at 7 p.m. featuring speaker Clay Crum.

Crenshaw Talk

The Crenshaw County Historical Society is hosting Let’s Talk History, Highland Home June 23 at 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend the event at Highland Home Church of Christ. Bring stories, questions and memorabilia to discuss the area’s history. Refreshments provided.

Combined VBS

Brantley and Mt. Zion Baptist Churches will host a combined Vacation Bible School June 23-27 from 5-8:30 p.m.

Senator Tuberville

The Luverne Public Library hosts a program for moms and young children each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The next meeting will be this Tuesday.

Farmer Workshop

The workshop will be held June 27 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and will be about resources available to beginning farmers and ranchers. Lunch will be served to registered attendees. To register please call the Crenshaw County Extension Office at 334-335-6312.

Salter Reunion

The 2024 Gus Salter Family Reunion will be held June 29 at the Venue at the Runway on 1567 Airport Road in Luverne. The official program starts Saturday at noon. There are no organized activities on Sunday. All are welcome. There is no cost to attend, but donations are welcome.

Rutledge Celebration

The Town of Rutledge will host a 4th of July Celebration at 1727 Lee Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vendors and sponsors will be on hand with food, games and fun. Lineup for the parade starts at 10 a.m. and the parade begins at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

Church Revival

New Ebenezer Baptist Church will host revival services July 7 at 5 p.m. and July 8-10 at 7 p.m. featuring guest speaker Jack Anderson.

Performing Arts VBS

Luverne United Methodist Church will host Performing Arts VBS July 8-12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Call the church at (334) 335-3013 for more information.

Children ages 9-12 are invited to 4-H STEM and cooking classes on Thursday July 11 at 10 a.m.

Bethel Baptist Church will hold its homecoming service July 14 at 10 a.m. Revival will follow July 15-17 at 7 p.m. nightly featuring guest speaker Randy Harvill.

Luverne Church of Christ will host Vacation Bible School (VBS) July 14-17 from 6 – 8 p.m. with adult and childrens classes.

Union Baptist Church will hold its annual homecoming service July 28 at 11 a.m. with guest speaker John Ross Massey. Revival will be held July 29-31 at 7 p.m. with guest speaker Daniel Wilson on Tuesday and Massey on Monday and Wednesday.

Bible School

Pleasant Home Baptist Church is hosting Vacation Bible School Aug. 3. Time and theme will be announced at a later date.

Glenwood Revival

Glenwood Baptist Church will hold revival services Aug. 12-14 featuring guest speaker Avert Walker nightly at 7 p.m.
