South Luverne Baptist Church will host a blood drive from 11:30am-3pm July 20.

Museum Open

The Crenshaw County Historical Society will host an open house at the museum on Airport Road July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous meets each Monday and Thursday evening at First Baptist Church in Luverne. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall. 

Art Event

Children ages 3-8 are invited to attend an art event at the Luverne Public Library July 23 at 10 a.m.

Mommie and Me

The Luverne Public Library hosts a program for moms and young children each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The next meeting will be this Tuesday.

Brantley Splash

Jumping Maniacs Inflatables, LLC is hosting a Back to School Splash at the Brantley Recreation Field located on North Sasser Street on Aug. 3 from 12 – 7 p.m. Waterslides, vendors, food and more will be available. All proceeds will benefit the field. Call (334) 945-0291 for more information.

Grief Group

Luverne Church of Christ offers a monthly class for individuals grieving the loss of a loved one. The class meets the 1st Monday each month at 6 p.m. The next class is scheduled for Aug. 5.

Mobile Screening

The Crenshaw County Health Department offers mobile mammography screening the second Tuesday each month. The next session is on Aug. 13. Call (334) 747-4769 or visit the health department at 15 Hospital Drive in Luverne to schedule an appointment.
