The Luverne Kiwanis Club hosted head football coaches from all four local high schools at it’s Aug. 20 meeting. Club members and their guests heard details about top players, game strategy and coaching staff from head coaches at Highland Home School, Luverne School, Crenshaw Christian Academy and Brantley School. A question and answer session followed, giving Kiwanians the opportunity to enquire about topics related to each team, gaining the “inside scoop” about the impact of NIL (name, image, likeness) sponsorship on student-athletes, which teams are the “one to beat” and what the schedule looks like for each team.
