Jones, Whiddon named to UA honors lists

Two Crenshaw County scholars ranked among 501 students honored by the University of Alabama recently, when the college announced students enrolled in its summer 2024 semester who were named to the dean’s and president’s lists.

Jordan Jones of Brantley was named to the presidents list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). Abby Whiddon of Luverne (36049) was named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above).

The driven students are named among their peers taking classes across UA’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.

The UA honors lists recognize full-time undergraduate students, but do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
