The Luverne Public Library will host a pumpkin painting contest Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 – 11 a.m. The library will provide the pumpkins, paints and brushes. Please bring any trim needed. Pumpkins will be left at the library for judging by patrons. Winners in age categories 3 – 5, 6 – 8, and 9 – 12 will be announced Oct. 25.
