The City of Luverne hosted a luncheon for members of the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC), including the Federal Co-Chair, Dr. Jennifer Clyburn Reed, and Melissa L. Lindler, the commissions’ chief of staff. Also attending were Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) Director Kenneth Boswell as well as county, city and community leaders. The luncheon, held on Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the private dining room of the Chicken Shack, afforded community leaders an opportunity to hear directly from Reed and to ask questions about the commission’s efforts to identify community needs.
