Crenshaw Community Hospital (CCH) welcomes NewGen Emergency Medicine Physician Services as the organization’s newest emergency physician provider. NewGen, which began services Dec. 1, is an expert in Emergency Services focusing primarily in smaller hospitals.

The group was founded to serve community, rural and critical access hospitals, something the founders spent several decades specializing in.

NewGen President Greg Tillery believes smaller hospitals deserve better service, one that is delivered honestly, transparently, and by quality providers.

“CCH and Luverne are exactly the kind of hospital and community we founded NewGen to serve,” Tillery said. “We are committed to providing excellent care and understand the importance of delivering top notch service.”

The group boasts 15 physicians currently, each bringing more than 20 years of emergency medicine experience to Crenshaw County.

Key to providing safe, quality, cost-effective ER care is NewGen’s focus on recruiting ER physicians who thrive in community hospital settings. NewGen provides emergency medicine to several rural hospitals regionally (e.g., Dale Medical Center, Ozark) as well as nationally.

“It’s an honor to care for the ED patients here and we look forward to supporting CCH and citizens of Crenshaw County”, said Tillery.

“We are so excited that NewGen has partnered with our organization to provide emergency services,” said CCH Chief Executive Officer, David Hughes.  “Our community relies on us!  Knowing the emergency department is the front door of this hospital it is essential that we have a medical group here that will address any type of emergency when it is needed the most in the competent, confident, and compassionate manner, stated Hughes. Welcome NewGen!”
