Brantley School hosts 3rd Annual Tony Stallworth Invitational

The 3rd Annual Tony Stallworth Invitational, held Dec. 19-  21 in the Brantley High School Gymnasium, celebrated the enduring legacy of Tony Stallworth, a former state basketball champion and a pillar of the Brantley basketball community and beyond. Stallworth’s passion, dedication and achievements in basketball continues to inspire players through the annual tournament. 

Matchups included contests between the Goshen Eagles, the Elba Tigers, Andalusia Bulldogs, McKenzie Tigers, Brantley Bulldogs, Pike Liberal Arts Patriots, Luverne Tigers, Highland Home Flying Squadron, Alabama Christian, J.F. Shields Panthers, Chuck Person Next Level Academy and Grace Christian Academy.

Game outcomes :

The tournament featured outstanding talent, and the All-Tournament team including Devin Melton, Jadin Harris and Jadien Parker from Luverne School; TJ Washington and Tyler Chaney from Highland Home School; Hakeem Shamburger from JF Shields; Cadariyus Love and Xavier Hourel from Andalusia School; Julius Sylvester, Jon Harper Kilcrease and Jayden Parks from Brantley School and Jackson Mitchell from Pike Liberal Arts. The event was a tribute to Stallworth’s legacy and the unifying power of sports.
