Small Shih Tzu, big personality

Emmi is a two-year-old Shih Tzu with a big personality and an even bigger fan club. She belongs to Taylor Stinson of Luverne and has been named Luverne Veterinary Hospital’s Pet of the Week.
Known for her calm demeanor, Emmi rarely barks — except when she is impatiently waiting for her meals. Her favorite meals consist of lamb or salmon, as she has an allergy to chicken-based foods. Emmi also has a taste for healthy snacks like carrots, apples and pumpkin-flavored treats.
Emmi is a petite bundle of joy with a personality as charming as her perfectly styled ponytails and colorful bows. Taylor describes her as the “sweetest little girl in the world,” a sentiment shared by the rest of Taylor’s family as well.
A natural at making friends, Emmi loves spending time with her brother, fur-brother, fur cousin Lailee and her beloved Aunt Yay Yay. Emily enjoys playing dress-up and sporting her collection of clothes and bows with flair. A fan of hair care, Emmi loves having her hair brushed and styled. She is also a seasoned traveler who loves car rides. Within minutes of hitting the road, she’s usually fast asleep. At home, her favorite activities include cuddling with her stuffed animals and snuggling with Taylor each night.
“Pet of the Week,” “Pet of the Season” and “Pet of the Year” are sponsored by Luverne Veterinary Hospital which offers a full range of veterinary services for both small and large animals, as well as grooming and boarding options. To learn more, contact them at (334) 535-0161.
