* First Baptist Church in Luverne will host a First Responder’s dinner and movie night on Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. All responders and their families are welcome to attend this free event.

* The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association WMU will host its quarterly meeting at Brantley Baptist Church on Monday, Feb. 3 with the service beginning at 6:45 p.m. Candace McIntosh, Alabama WMU executive director, will be the event’s guest speaker.

* The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association will host its monthly food pantry Feb. 15 at First Baptist Church Luverne. Distribution is 9 – 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month.

* Mark your calendar for the 30th Annual Swamp Supper on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Tom Harbin Farm Center. Judd Flint will be the guest speaker. Men and boys only.

* Grace Bible Church at 4737 Montgomery Highway in Luverne is studying  the “Love and Respect” DVD marriage series by Emerson Eggrichs. Classes meet every other Sunday at 6 p.m.
