Bobby B. Moon, of Daleville, passed away, Saturday, June 8, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 85.    

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 10 at Daleville Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Peters and Rev. James Kilpatrick officiating. Burial followed at 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 10, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Brantley, with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family received friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Daleville Baptist Church, 100 Donnell Blvd, Daleville, AL 36322.  

Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired after 32 years of service with the Daleville City School System and the Dale County School System.  

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Joan Moon, Daleville; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Nancy Moon, Woodstock, Georgia; three grandchildren, Kayla Moon Henao (Daniel), Kennesaw, Georgia; Cheyenne Moon Marshall (Miles), Marietta, Georgia and Chason Moon, Troy.
