Edgewood Academy scored a touchdown in overtime to snap a three-game losing skid and defeat the Crenshaw Christian Academy (CCA) Cougars 27-21 Thursday, Oct. 3.

The Cougars, at 4-and-2 overall, had a four-game winning streak shaded in the loss and will face Sparta Academy next Friday night in a key 2A Region 1 battle in Evergreen.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
