A two-year-old Pit Bull named Fat Head, owned by Brandy Pace of Highland Home, has been chosen as the Luverne Veterinary Hospital Pet of the Week. This lovable pup is known for his big personality, calm demeanor and love for adventure, especially if it involves the water.
Fat Head is a keen cuddler, often found sleeping right by his “mama” and “daddy.” Affectionately named, this bodacious canine adores swimming and splashing around, whether it’s at the beach, river or creek.
However, bath time is another story; he’s not a fan. Fat Head has a special place in his heart for car rides, racing to the family’s Tahoe each morning to join in on the daily school drop-off and pick up routine for kids Temperance, 7, and John Carter, 5.
When it comes to treats, bacon is this pup’s favorite. He’s well-versed in a few key commands like “sit,” “lay down,” and his personal favorite, “load up,” which means it’s time for another car ride.
Fat Head is a sweetheart of a pet with a calm demeanor. According to his owners, Fat Head fits perfectly into the lives of his family, and they couldn’t imagine life without him.
“Pet of the Week,” “Pet of the Season” and “Pet of the Year” are sponsored by Luverne Veterinary Hospital which offers a full range of veterinary services for both small and large animals, as well as grooming and boarding options. To learn more, contact them at (334) 535-0161.
