Bella – Indispensable, playful pup
By Haley Mitchell Godwin
Bella, a German Shepherd who is as intelligent as she is playful, has been selected as this week’s Pet of the Week. The loyal canine, who will turn two in January, is owned by Kelli Lee of Rutledge and has quickly become an indispensable member of the household.
Although Bella is primarily an indoor dog, she has a special fondness for the outdoors. One of her favorite activities is playing under a running water hose, joyfully splashing and darting through the spray.
Her owner notes that Bella is not only playful but also exceptionally smart. With ease, she mastered commands like sit, shake, fetch and stay, proving her quick wit and trainability.
Bella’s talents extend to physical challenges as well. Her human sister created an obstacle course just for her, and Bella eagerly navigates the hurdles and jumps with grace and enthusiasm.
Bella has an endearing love for her favorite treats. Puperoni snacks are her top pick, and she’s been known to hear the bag opening from incredible distances. She’s also a big fan of hotdogs.
This lovable pup thrives on closeness, always seeking snuggles or ensuring she’s touching someone nearby. Her sweet, snuggly demeanor makes her not just a pet but a cherished family member.
