Brantley Garden Club announces Christmas decoration winners

Danny and Courtney Dewrell earned Santa Winner with an awe inspiring display of inflatables.
Tammy and Chris Bryan are the Country Winner in the Brantley Garden Club Christmas Decorations Contest.
Kena Meredith claimed the title of Front Door Winner.
Spirit of the Front Porch Town is awarded to Linda and Bernie Sullivan.
The title of Victorian Winner goes to Tara and Kris Odom.

Brantley Garden Club held its second Christmas Decorations contest this year. The tradition, started by the Garden Club years ago, had stopped for a few years, but this year they continued the annual judging on Dec. 16.
Changing procedures a little this year from last year’s sign ups, those homes within the town and surrounding communities simply needed to leave their lights on.
The winners are as follows:
Lighting — Nina Jo and Taylor Kilcrease
Commercial — Old Gin Creek: Hunter and Amanda Royal
Contemporary — June and Willie Smith
Front Door — Keena Meredith
Country — Tammy and Chris Bryan
Religious — Donnie and Ginger Nichols
Victorian — Tara and Kris Odom
Spirit of the Front Porch Town — Linda and Bernie Sullivan
Traditional — Augusta and Dorothy Cook
Santa — Danny and Courtney Dewrell
The Garden Club would like to thank all who participated in this community event. They hope the contest will continue in the future with all the participants making Brantley a Christmas Wonderland, noted by locals and those travelers passing through.
The Garden Club encourages those who want to participate to check out the categories and begin planning for 2025. Pamela Campbell, a member of the club, said she can remember all those years when she lived away, coming home to Brantley, seeing all the beautiful decorations.
