Meet Finn, the two-year-old Labrador Retriever named Luverne Veterinary Hospital’s Pet of the Week. According to his owner, Trent McGough of Highland Home, the playful pup is a shining example of loyalty, skill and companionship. 

Whether riding shotgun with his owner or retrieving ducks, Finn is a fine example of “man’s best friend”.

McGough and Finn share a special bond, with Finn being Trent’s first hunting dog. He is an expert duck dog, a role he was perfectly made for. Finn’s skills were honed through the guidance of Kevin Booth, who trained the pup to be one of the best in the business.

While Finn’s talents in the field are impressive, it’s his temperament off-duty that truly warms the heart. “He’s amazing with my kids,” McGough said. “My oldest can play with him, tug on him, and he just sits there, patient as can be. He’s an all-around good, loyal dog.”
