Jax State names Crenshaw County students to honors lists

Tyler Anthony Johnson of Luverne was named to the Jacksonville State University (JSU) Dean’s List. He is a graduate of Luverne High School where he was a member of the Luverne Tigers Marching Band.
To be named to the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.5 – 3.99 grade point average (GPA) for the semester while completing at least 12 GPA hours of course credit.
Gabrielle Michelle Briggins of Tyler has been named to the Dean’s List at JSU for her outstanding academic performance over the fall 2024 semester. She graduated with honors from Central High School in Hayneville in May 2024 and pursues a double major in studio art and entrepreneurship.
The university also named Aislynn Brown of Honoraville and Sarainiah Xiong of Luverne to its President’s List. More than 1,200 students earned the honor and were named to the list for earning a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester while completing at least 12 hours.
