Don proudly served his country with the Air National Guard for several years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Troy University before working his way up as a district sales manager for most of his career at DSI Magazine Company, as well as at Mission Foods and Popcorn Indiana. With his outgoing, friendly, humorous personality, he never met a stranger. In his free time, he loved coaching little league baseball, hiking in the mountains, spending time with family, and traveling all over the United States. Above all, he was a dedicated and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and his family cherished every precious moment they had together. They were blessed to have so many years together, and they will continue to treasure the lifetime of memories they made.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Mallie & Lula Jones Bell, and siblings, Max Bell and Betty Traylor. He is survived by his children, Troy (Uyen) Bell, Tiffany (Chris) Griffin, and Robbie (John) Williamson; grandchildren, Noel (Zach) Davis, John Austin (Christina) Williamson, Kevin (Marli) Williamson, Cade Williamson, Noah Griffin, Kayla Griffin, and Hoang Nguyen; great-grandchild, Blair Davis; siblings, Elizabeth Cross, Roger Bell, and Linda (Jerry) Colquitt; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who completely adored him.
