Haley, I wanted to congratulate you on your well written article about the peanut boil. As the daughter of WE Granger, you can imagine the connection my brother, Jack, and I have always felt to this event and our pride in its success.

You did such a good job explaining its history and how meaningful it is to this area. Many, many Shriners and volunteers have worked hard for these 50 plus years to make it a success, but our family takes a special pride in knowing it was our father’s idea and vision. What a legacy!
