Christmas Parade
The Crenshaw County Chamber of Commerce will host a Christmas parade on Dec. 7 starting at 6 p.m. For more information contact Ruth Bayman at 334-268-2807.
ForestHER Webinar
The ForestHER Webinar Series meets on the second Tuesday of every month. Pre Registration is required through the Zoom link that can be found at https://www.aces.edu. For more information, contact Becky Barlow at 334-844-1019 or becky.barlow@auburn.edu.
Christmas Parade
The Front Porch Christmas festival and parade will be held in Brantley on Dec. 9. The parade begins at 12 noon with the festival starting immediately after. For more information look up the event on Facebook.
Toy Run
The 33rd annual Spyder’s Toy Run for Crenshaw County DHR will commence immediately following the Brantley Christmas Parade which starts at noon. Bikes will gather at the baseball field. Donations via cash or check will also be accepted. Make checks payable to Crenshaw County DHR.
Car Show
Crenshaw Kool Ridz will host their fifth annual Cars 4 Kidz Christmas car show on Dec. 9 at E.L. Turner Park from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. For more information contact Rusty King at 334-429-0671.
Open House
Crenshaw County Historical Society will host its Annual Christmas Open House on December 9 and 10, from 2-5 p.m. at the Museum on Airport Road. Come share an old fashioned Christmas with refreshments and fellowship. Admission is free.
Christmas at the Well
The Flowing Well Foundation will host Christmas at the Well, a free event, on Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. There will be free treats, coffee, hot cocoa, tree lighting ceremony and a candlelight memorial.
CCBOE meeting
A regular board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Brantley School.
Crenshaw County Commission meeting
An administrative work session will begin at 9 a.m. with a regular session meeting to follow.
The Friendly City Homecoming Christmas Show
This year’s event, held at the Luverne United Methodist Church Dei Center, will feature singer/songwriters Kevin Sport and Mark Naramore along with local talent. Tickets are $20 each. Contact Lisa S. Rolling at 334-300-7795 for more information.
Mommy and Me
The Luverne Public Library hosts a program for moms and young children each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The next meeting will be this Tuesday.
Craft Day
The Luverne Public Library will host a craft day on Dec. 18 at 4 p.m.

The Luverne Public Library will host 4-H on Dec. 21 at 4 p.m.
Kids Yoga
The Luverne Public Library will host kids yoga on Dec. 21 at 5:15 p.m.
LEGO Club
The Luverne Public Library will host EGO Club on Dec. 28 at 4 p.m.
