Meadowcrest Apartments is hosting a “Rock for a Cure for Alzheimer’s” wrap party this Saturday.

The wrap party will feature free hotdogs and chips and live entertainment. The event will also feature door prizes. Everyone is invited to come out and “rock” for a cure.

The event begins at 9 a.m., and ends at 3 p.m.

The wrap party is a way to celebrate the achievements made by this year’s Rock-A-Thon Fundraiser.

Once a year, Meadowcrest Apartments choose an organization to support through helping to raise money for their cause. This year, Meadowcrest Apartments chose The Longest Day with the Alzheimer’s Association.

Meadowcrest is currently taking donations until the wrap-up party. Residents can keep an eye on donations by checking the fundraiser thermometer stationed in front of Meadowcrest Apartments on Hwy 331 in Luverne.

Anyone who would like to donate can do so by mailing or dropping off their donation at Meadowcrest Apartments. Checks must be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association.
