Wednesday evening Sheriff Terry Mears along with the Dozier Volunteer Fire Department rescued three youths from drowning. Mears stated he arrived on scene first followed closely by Chase Burnett and Kaleb Hammett of the Dozier Fire Department. Burnett and Hammett implemented a frisbee tied with a rope to rescue the girls who ranged in age from 9 to 13.
