Poarch Band of Creek Indians award scholarships
Staff Reports
The Poarch Band of Creek Indians (PBCI) awarded Emily Anne Morgan of Dozier and Nolleigh Reaves of Highland Home with scholarships for their participation in Alabama’s livestock industry during a March 18 ceremony held in coordination with the Southeastern Livestock Exposition (SLE) Rodeo. Each year the PBCI recognizes young people from each of Alabama’s 67 counties by awarding scholarships to aid in future participation in youth livestock events or further education during SLE Livestock Week.
