On March 15, the U.S. Postal Service temporarily suspended retail operations at the Luverne location due to flooding caused by a burst pipe. Customers are advised to conduct their business transactions at the Rutledge post office located at 1606 Lee Street. To better meet the higher demand, the Rutledge location has temporarily extended its hours and is currently open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. closed for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and open on Saturdays from 8:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The Luverne Post Office is expected to reopen once repairs are completed. However, no exact date has been released.  For questions or concerns, please contact the Luverne Post Office at 334-335-5393.
